China Agri-Industries Holdings Limited under COFCO was elected as one of Outstanding Hong Kong Businesses in 2007 by Economic Digest for its excellent performance growth, business management, acception by small share holders and other positive indexes.
The appraisal is the fourth in line to select top Hong Kong businesses; it has become not only an eye-ball attraction but also important reference to investors. This year 36 businesses from real estate, shipping, manufacturing, retailing and finance were on the list.
Midterm performance report by China Agri (HK0606) shows satisfying results that by the end of June 2007 its midterm turnover and net profit rose to 54.1% and 95.2% respectively, i.e., 11.6 billiong HK Dollars and 615 million HK Dollars.
