COFCO Development Co., Ltd. has invested a total of US$20 million towards the establishment of a 150 mu northern packaging base in Tianjin Wuqing Development Area.
The base aims to produce all types of packaging for grains and food products, packaging products, metal printing products as well as other metal and plastic packaging. The project is expected to be launched in May 2006 and put into operation in October 2006, and will be the single largest metal food packaging enterprise in northern China.
